Senior QA Specialist for its client – an American company.
Senior QA Specialist /T_SQAS/
Our client:
Headquarter of the company is in USA and exist from 1993. Bulgarian office was opened in 2003. The size of the company here is more than 150 people and they are recognized leader in providing secure Internet communication solutions for enterprises and government customers of all sizes. They provides security solutions for inbound and outbound email protection, managed file transfers, and identity validation that allow organizations to safely conduct business over the Internet.
Your Role:
To provide white box testing of all shared components supplied by the team before their incorporation into products.
Required Skills:
• At least 1-2 years of experience in software testing;
• Knowledge of software testing tools;
• Experience in networking (TCP/IP, Firewall, packet sniffing, etc.);
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux is required, AIX or Solaris environment is a plus;
• Experience in C/C++ or Java, Perl and shell-scripts;
• Knowledge in software security standard like SSL, S/MIME, AS2, MDN, MD5, HTTPS, and FTPS is a plus;
• Very good command of English language – both written and spoken;
• Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills.
Your responsibilities:
• Review requirements at the initial phase of the product;
• Review design documents in the initial phase of the product;
• Writing test design specifications;
• Different types of testing including server based applications, desktop applications, command line tools;
• Write some simple scripts when needed;
• Work with the other team members and support the QA lab (Installation and configuration of all QA machines);
• Actively participate in the mail communication.
